Cinnamon Swirl Cake

Ingredients

Cinnamon Sugar Filling

1 cup sugar

2 tablespoons cinnamon

Cake

2 cups flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 egg

2/3 cup milk

1/2 cup sugar (you can add 1/4 cup more if you like sweet cakes)

1/3 cup yoghurt

1 Large bowl

2 Small bowls

9 by 5 inch loaf pan, floured and buttered

How To

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit/176 degrees Celsius.

In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking soda and salt with the spatula until combined.

Add the rest of the ingredients and mix in with the electric or handheld whisk. Whisk until well combined and batter is slightly thick and smooth. Set aside.

In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon. Remove 3 tablespoons into a small bowl and set aside.

Pour half the batter into the prepared baking pan. Sprinkle the large portion of the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly across the top.

Pour the rest of the batter on top and spread out to cover the cinnamon sugar mixture fully. You can use a spoon to spread it out.

Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture on top. Using a knife, make swirl shapes all the way across the top.

Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan. Remove from the pan when ready to serve.
