
No Churn Strawberry Icecream
Prep time: 15 mins Chill time: Overnight
Ingredients
1/2 cup evaporated milk
2 tablespoons sugar
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
4 large strawberries (or more if you want a stronger strawberry taste)
Equipment
Measuring cups and spoons
Handheld electric whisk
Mini food processor
Large bowl
Medium bowl
Spatula
Two 6 inch round pans or 1 8 inch loaf pan
How To
Puree the strawberries in the food processor. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream and sugar until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
In a large bowl, beat the evaporated milk, vanilla extract and salt until doubled in volume.
Fold the whipped cream into the milk mixture. Fold it in until well combined.
Stir in the puréed strawberries.
Pour equally between the two round pans, or all of it in the loaf pan.
Chill in the fridge overnight.
