Tea Biscuits

Ingredients

1 Cup milk 
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tablespoon ammonia
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 tablespoon baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 cup ghee (or ghee mixed with oil) 
1/4 teaspoon turmeric 

400 grams flour

How To


In a large bowl, add eggs milk oil sugar salt vanilla ammonia and beat for about 2 mins. It will be a runny mixture.

Add the flour and baking powder and mix them in by hand. May need to add flour if mixture is slightly wet. Add by spoonful in order not to add much. 

Chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit/120 Celsius.

Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Using a piping bag or cookie cutter, pipe rectangular shaped cookies onto the taking tray.

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until cookies are slightly browned.

Remove and let cool on the tray for about 5 minutes, and then move onto a wire rack to cool completely.
